Where Does Get Backers Anime End In The Manga Series

i just watched ep. 49, and i desire to know, is information technology the last? the series concluded kind of abruptly, did information technology get cancelled? did they run out of manga? are they planning a second season? IMO, the could have fleshed out the story quite a flake by going into Babylon City, defeating new enemies, saving the world, etc. the serial concluded kind of short, and the last episode was horrible. why? will i e'er get to see more GetBackers? is this the end for my beloved serial?

The Encyclopedia only goes up to 49 so I gauge that's the end of the series. There'southward also no listing for a sequal so information technology appears this is everything.

um...especially nowadays, in the age of the 13-episode OVA, a series that goes 49 eps is already extraordinary!

I thought the last episode was pretty good. Anyway, every bit far as I know, the manga is still going on in Japan. I've heard rumors that they're already talking near a second anime serial to continue the story. Hopefully this isn't the end, merely a short break. In any case, if y'all want to keep up with it, pick upward the manga.

Yup, it's the end, unfortunately... ah well, I actually liked the last episode. I haven't heard any rumors about a 2d series, and then I judge I'll merely have to get hold of the manga (somehow) to satisfy my GB needs. Information technology's still running in Japan (it's at its 22nd book), and it was recently licensed in the United states of america by TokyoPop.

I think the reason why it ended was that they but ran out of money, and the show probably wasn't popular enough to be worth continuing for the producers (if I retrieve correctly, it ran very tardily at dark - around midnight?). Btw, it's not the outset time a story gets cut curt in GB - it was the same with the Venus de Milo arc, and at that place are several other plotlines that remained hanging in the air, including the great mystery behind Yamato's death. And with all these references to secrets and old rivalries and stuff, I recall that the creators wanted to make a much longer series, with more story packed in, than what they somewhen did... It's sad that they couldn't do information technology.

I idea they had explained Yamato's death. spoiler[He was supposedly 1 of the cursed children. In time he and Himiko would dice being consumed by the curse, so when his time eventually came, Yamato asked Ban to kill him. There really was no resolution of the story for Himiko. Nosotros don't know what will happen to her, or whether she volition find out her fate. ]

I really do hope at that place is a 2nd season of the series or a OVA. I want some more in depth info on GB, and that concluding episode didn't resolve much.

I'm currently in the midst of DLing ep 37 and I accept to say I really like this series alot. Mido and Ginji are the best characters I"ve seen in quite some time.

I"ve heard that the deviation between the manga and the anime is like night and 24-hour interval. I guess will run across when the start book is released in Jan. If we can await that long.

I've heard virtually go backers but i've never seen it. Can someone tell me what its about. please please please Laughing

ah I just finished information technology! I thought information technology was bang-up. Now I take this empty feeling considering I have zilch to fill up the time I spent downloading it and watching information technology. Guess its time to move on.
